Universität Augsburg
The Institute of Geography of the University Augsburg belongs to the Facultry of Applied Informatics. The following chair offers the possibility to study hydrology:
Chair of Physical Geography and Quantitative Methods
All disciplines of physical geography, especially hydro-geography and applied physical geography.

Working Group Water and Soil Resources Research (Prof. Fiener)
The working group adopts a holistic approach to the interactions between land use, land management as well as water and soil resources. The following topics are of special hydrological interest:
- surface runoff and soil redistribution processes in the context of hydrological connectivity,
- lateral redistribution of soil carbon and its impact on the terrestrial and aquatic carbon balance,
- sustainable management of water and soil resources in agricultural landscapes.
