Technische Universität Berlin

Chair of Water Resources Management and Modeling of Hydrosystems

The field of water resources management and hydro system modelling offers courses on hydrology and water resources management primarily as part of the Civil Engineering Bachelor and Master degree courses.
Courses on fluid dynamics, hydraulic engineering and engineering hydrology are part of the bachelor degree studies while the master studies ( starting in the winter term 09/10) concentrate on courses on water management and hydro system modelling within the realm of hydrosciences.
In addition to the principles of fluid dynamics and hydrology, another focus is on simulation methods in the field of hydrosciences. Engineering hydrology and master degree courses are held in English if required. The lectures of both courses of studies are also suitable for students of environmental and geosciences.
Within the scope of the Engineering Graduate School Environment Water (EGW) of the International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR), English-language advanced training courses in the field of hydro system modelling are organized in a one- or two-year cycle.
